This section is dedicated to the BRAND NEW SWIM FAMILY! Here you will get a very brief overview of all things swim meet.

Sign-ups:

You will sign up swimmers for each meet independently! As soon as possible, meets schedules will be loaded and available by registration. Attendance can be updated up to 12:00pm on the Thursday before each meet.  Meet sign-ups close at 12:00pm on Thursday before the meet! We cannot add swimmers after the meet closes.

Volunteer:

Volunteers make this team run. If you signed up to volunteer please ensure you arrive on time and communicate sooner than later if you are unable to fulfil your role. You are responsible for coordinating a trade with another parent if you need to change roles or days.

How long is a swim meet?

Swim meets begin with warmups anywhere from 4-5pm and meets begin 30 minutes after warmups. Depending on the number of swimmers and the size of the pool, meets typically end anywhere from 8-9pm. We work hard to go as efficiently as possible, this is why being on time is so important.

Can we leave before the meet is over?

You can leave as soon as your swimmer is all finished with all his/her events including relays! Please check in with the Team Manager and Head Coach prior to leaving.

When will I know what my child is swimming?

A meet is typically set up on Friday nights before the race. From your Swimtopia App you should be able to get a general idea of how the meet will flow.
